Leider existieren neben unserem Verband zwei weitere Vereine, die den Westfalenterrier züchten. Das Zuchtgeschehen dieser Vereine entspricht nicht den Vorstellungen, die der Gründer der Rasse Herr Manfred Rüter hat, der in unserem Verband die Reinzucht des Westfalenterriers lenkt und die Konsolidierung des Rassebestandes überwacht.

Apart from our association, there are two further organizations engaged in breeding Westfalia Terriers, which is quite regrettable. Breeding activities of these two clubs are not in line with the principles set out by Manfred Rueter, creator of this breed, who controls pure breeding inside our association and monitors the consolidation of the breed`s population.
